I was born and raised in beautiful bayside Brisbane, in a home called Palmwoods, where weekends were often spent on my Dad’s timber cruiser—a labor of love hand-built over eight years. School runs with Dad often turned into delightful detours to check on the boat’s progress, and more often than not, I’d never quite make it to school.

Hi, I’m Georgia Peard
With over a decade of experience in high-impact event and travel management, including my tenure as Forums & Programs Manager for Asia Pacific at McKinsey & Company, I specialise in crafting experiences that leave a lasting impression.
At McKinsey, I conceptualised and delivered programs for C-suite audiences, from strategic partnerships and intimate gatherings to large-scale forums tied to global events like the World Economic Forum in Davos. Prior to this, I managed corporate travel and event programs for a suite of global clients, designing bespoke experiences around iconic events such as the Australian Open, Hong Kong 7s, Wimbledon, and the Singapore Grand Prix. My expertise lies in blending strategic vision with flawless execution to create experiences that inspire, connect, and resonate deeply.
The roots of my passion trace back to my upbringing in bayside Brisbane in a home called Palmwoods, where weekends were often spent aboard my dad’s lovingly hand-built timber cruiser. In 2007, what began as a one-year adventure in rural Queensland turned into eight transformative years. Working as a Governess teaching via School of the Air and a Jillaroo mustering cattle, fixing fences, and preparing horses for polocrosse, I learned resilience, adaptability, the value of human connection, and a love for bringing people together.
Today, Palmwoods & Co reflects my journey – combining my spirit of adventure with my passion for aesthetics and design to craft tailored event and travel experiences. Each project is a story waiting to be told, and my mission is to ensure it’s one you’ll cherish long after it ends.
I’m bringing all those experiences together - my love for the outback and venturing off the beaten path, my passion for design and aesthetics, and my expertise in event management.
